Plaatsbepaling - Deze factoren (Granulocyte colony-stimulating factors, G-CSF) worden gebruikt om neutropenie door cytostatische of immuunsuppressieve behandeling tegen te gaan, maar ook in sommige gevallen van idiopathische of congenitale neutropenie, en bij beenmergtransplantatie. De bedoeling is door verhogen van het aantal neutrofielen, het risico en de duur van infecties te beperken.
- Plerixafor is een immunostimulans, gebruikt in associatie met G-CSF.
Belangrijkste ongewenste effecten - Spier- en skeletpijn.
- Dysurie.
- Reacties ter hoogte van de injectieplaats.
- Overgevoeligheidsreacties.
